My powerful book debunks aspartame studies proclaiming its safety
“I am inspired and encouraged by what one concerned and determined individual can do to effectively counteract the lies and misinformation we are fed daily by our government, multinational corporations, and mainstream media.
---Cher Gilmore, M.S.W., M.U.R.S.; media consultant
“Read Victoria’s astonishing exposé. Does aspartame – sold in packets as NutraSweet and Equal – in fact do the opposite of what it claims? Are there really life-threatening adverse effects? Was it released on an unsuspecting public by unscrupulous public officials and profiteering scientists with severe conflicts of interest? Read and decide for yourself.”

My Aspartame Experiment: Report from a Private Citizen, now available as an e-book, shows 20 disturbing photos of female rats with tumors the size of golf balls observed on 67% of my females consuming aspartame.
The report also shows photos of seven males with tumors representing 23% of my males on aspartame, and five females with tumors representing 21% of my female controls.
No control males developed observable tumors. |

The report shows both male and female rats with a multitude of other adverse results, including paralysis, spasmodic torticollis (also called dystonia, where the neck is continuosly twisted to one side), and difficulty walking; infected and bleeding eyes, skin lesions, thinning and yellowing fur; and obesity, the saddest adverse effect of all, since so many people consume the sweetener to lose weight. One control female had a skin problem and three males had thinning fur.
Interwoven with compelling personal testimonies from aspartame victims, the photos become an integral part of a heavily referenced, astonishing story underscored by quotes from independent scientific studies and other sources reporting serious adverse effects from aspartame. Salted within the story are “Pollyanna-like” quotes from the “talking points” ubiquitous within the literature distributed by the aspartame industry and the numerous national and global regulatory agencies meant to protect the 200,000,000 consumers world-wide who daily ingest aspartame in over 6000 foods, drinks, pharmaceutical drugs and vitamins.
This combination dramaticly illustrates the contrast between the studies sponsored by the aspartame industry that consistently claim aspartame is safe; versus those done by independent researchers consistently reporting serious adverse effects. The report also highlights the deep conflicts of interests of the scientists who did the highly-applauded pro-aspartame Magnuson 2007 report, and debunks a multitude of other aspartame industry studies by exposing the flaws in their experimental designs. |
